I go to a very small Christian school, and when I say small, I mean I know everybody’s full name and what everyone likes to do for fun or what they hate. However, unlike most small schools we actually do have a prom but its all of high school so not many people go. One of my friends from a bible study I do asked me to go to his prom with him so I was much more excited to go to his huge public school prom.
I would say I’m a pretty simple person, I had no clue what I wanted for my dress but this one was definitely more glitz than I had imagined but I ended up loving it the moment I tried it on.
I did my makeup myself because I’m not terrible at it and didn’t really want to pay to get someone else to do it. I started with a primer and covered my whole face, went in with a very thick foundation, concealer and highlighter. I used a powder on top and then went over the powder with highlighter again, bronzer and blush. I used a pencil to draw in my eyebrows since I have very blonde eyebrows. I use a stick eyeliner because no matter how hard I try I can never master the liquid or gel liner. I used the urban decay eyeshadow and my mascara. (See tips for getting longer lashes here)
I did however go actually get my hair done since I can barely even curly my hair myself and I loved how it turned out.
